RECIPE: High Protein BLT Sandwich

Always looking for yummy protein. I came up with a sandwich with 60 grams of protein at least! So tasty, healthy and low calorie (about 700 calories, depending the products u use). This dish is at his best when freshly made and with toasted bread.

Supplies:

  • knife
  • grill or toaster
  • plate

ingredients:

  • high protein bread (8 grams per slice)
  • lean turkey breast (200 grams)
  • 1/2 avocado
  •  2 small tomatoes
  • arugula (a hand)
  • 4 turkey strip bacon
  • greek yoghurt (fullfat)
  • pepper
  • salt
  • pam

preparation

  • take the turkey breast and some pam, spray it and put it in the grill for 8 minutes
  • toast the bread or grill it
  • take the turkey bacon strips and grill then
  • slice 1/2 avocado
  • slice tomatoes
  • put the fullfat yoghurt on the bottom of the sandwich (1 tabelspoon)
  • take the rugula and put it on
  • add the turkey bacon and tomatoes
  • add the grilled turkey
  • add the rugula again
  • before placing the bread patty add a tabelspoon of yoghurt again and sprinkel some pepper/salt or other herbs
  • slice the BTL sandwich
  • enjoy!
